INCLUSION INTERNATIONAL WORLD CONGRESS TO BE HELD IN MEXICO, November 2006

For the first time in history, global prosperity has put the world in reach of eliminating extreme poverty yet the inequality and social exclusion faced by the majority of the world’s population and in particular people with intellectual disabilities and their families continues to grow.

The World Congress of Inclusion International will bring leaders in the movement for social inclusion together to share what we know about the exclusion faced by people with intellectual disabilities and their families, the global factors that impact on their lives and the strategies we have to address this exclusion.

The programme has been designed to promote the exchange of information and knowledge in research, advocacy, policy and good practice.

Information about how to register and submit applications to participate in a session and in the program fair will be available on November 15th.
