In Conversation, Robert Martin

• Robert Martin has probably done more for the rights of people with learning difficulties than anyone else. • He has been a leader in the self advocacy movement for 25 years. • He travels all over the world talking about his work. • He is now working on the rights of people with learning difficulties and disabled people with the UN (United Nations).
Fitting in with the theme for this issue, I had wanted to speak with a leader in the self advocacy movement who, arguably, has done more for the rights of people with an intellectual impairment than anyone else.
